Blackberry Curve 8310?

I just bought this phone and have a couple of questions...
1. It says it has integrated GPS. Is this something I have to pay for or is it free? FYI, I don't yet have a data plan, just reg minutes. I mainly needed it for the calender. and viewing douments.
2. Is there anywhere that I can download freeware for this phone that has a decent selection?
3. What types of games will this let me install? Is it java or jar like regular phones or
